Comments
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--5.8; BglII--5.8; AvaI--5.8; HincII--3.4, 2.4; PstI/PvuII--1.6, 1.5, 1.0, 0.8, 0.4.
This clone, which was not derived from the same cell line as the published sequence (S7), does not have the HindIII site at nucleotide 748. This is probably due to polymorphism. It does have a BamHI site at 929.
Either an AvaI/NdeI or an SmaI/NdeI digest gives a 1.7 kb fragment containing the protein-coding region except for a putative signal peptide.
The vector lacks the SV40 promoter.
This is a full length cDNA clone; coding sequences extend from nucleotide 130 through 1710.
