Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): EcoRI--25.0, 15.0, 10.0, 3.5; HindIII--24.0, 10.0, 8.4, 4.6, 3.1; BamHI--20.0, 12.0, 7.0, 5.6, 4.8, 3.3, 1.9, 1.4; SalI--38.0, 13.5; XbaI--52.0. The insert includes nucleotides 38-3598, encoding a complete 917 amino acid protein. There are 43 bp 5' untranslated and 765 bp 3' untranslated sequence in this insert. A 3.25 kb EcoRI fragment of this clone was used to detect the HincII polymorphism and is the insert of clone phHK15-2 (ATCC 61512). Enzyme(s) not detecting polymorphism: BclI, BglI, BglII, EcoRI, MspI, PstI, RsaI, SphI, TaqI, XbaI in a panel of 14 unrelated individuals. |
